This project is a unit (over 9′ in diameter) that is used in the mining industry. It has 6,372 tube ends. Each tube end is welded twice.
The first weld is the ‘root’ pass and is an autogenous weld. The second weld is the ‘cap’ pass and includes the addition of wire.
